David Lutt

David is a French osteopath, co-founder and developer of Osteothai.

He spent several years in Asia (India and Thailand) training in yoga, shiatsu, traditional Thai massage, and practicing Vipassana meditation.

In Thailand, he studied under the guidance of Asokananda and Ajahn Chaiyuth Priyasith. The latter remains his main inspiration to this day. In France, he passionately pursued his osteopathic path, inspired in particular by the work of Pierre Tricot, Jörg Schürpf, Bruno Ducoux, Bernard Darraillans, and François Laurent. He also holds a D.U. in “Philosophy of Osteopathy” (UCLY, France). He is the co-author of the book “Osteothai, a Poetry of Touch.”

He has been teaching since 2004. Through his Lulyani school, he gives numerous Thai Massage and Osteothai courses each year in France, Europe, Thailand and Japan.

Cécile Hérault

Cécile discovered Thai Massage in Thailand during her first training in Chiang Mai at the Sunshine Massage School, unaware that it would change her life!
Upon returning to France, she signed up for a class with David, whom she had been told about. Something magical happened: she encountered Thai Massage, just as she had secretly longed for.
She completed the Lulyani school’s modules one after the other. She also trained in Yin Yoga and AnatomYoga. Naturally, she continued with Osteothai, completing the Osteothai Master’s program. She returned to Thailand to learn from other teachings and enrich her practice through new encounters.
She divides her time between the Vendée region, where she has her yoga and massage studio, and the south of France for classes with Lulyani, where she assists David in all of his classes and also teaches. Keen to promote Thai Massage in France, she launched Festi’Thaï in 2018, a Thai Massage and Movement Festival which takes place every first weekend in July!

Dao Lefevre

Dao has had a long-standing love affair with Thailand since 1998.
She lived and worked there for many years and speaks Thai fluently. It was there that she began her Thai massage training at Wat Po (Bangkok). In 2009, she met the Sunshine Network, which introduced her to the essence of Thai massage, which resonated with her heart. Trained in Osteothai, she and David founded the Lulyani school in 2012.

Today, the mother of two young children, she is a practitioner of archaic reflexes and is interested in Steiner-Waldorf education. She is the founder of Festi’Kids, a children’s festival, which she organizes every year within Festi’Thaï; and of the Pachamama Tent, a space for expectant mothers and mothers with their babies. She is known for her listening skills and her presence with everyone.

Signification

In Hebrew Lulyani means Spiral as well as helicoidal movement.

Spiral is the movement of Life. Straight lines do not exist in nature, they are a creation of human beings. On the contrary, helicoidal movements exist in all different levels of creation, from molecules to galaxies. The Earth turns around the sun in a spiral movement. Spiral is the fundamental movement which is present in the structure of the universe. It manifests itself in plants, animals and human beings (DNA, the cochlea within the inner ear, finger prints…). It is the natural movement of life in air, water and blood. It is also the movement used to revitalize and strengthen organic life in water or biodynamic preparations.

Throughout the ages, ancient people have represented and venerated the spiral in initiation rituals as a source of creativity that develops in us and nourishes us.
